But the budget constraints of most of us have limited our choices and come up with two terms over and over again: LED and LCD.
But what\'s the difference?
It\'s a problem we \'ve heard a lot from the fledgling home theater shoppers, but we really shouldn\'t do that.
We blame the initials acronyms.
Here\'s a simple answer: LED TVs are LCD TVs, but it can be surprising how the definition of each term becomes so confusing.
LED and LCD: Although there are different initials acronym words, the led TV is just a specific type of LCD TV.
The correct name is actually \"LED-
Backlight LCD TVs, \"but it\'s too hard for everyday conversations, so people usually call them LED TVs.
LCD display for led TV (LCD)
The panel that controls the position of the light display on the screen.
These panels are usually made up of two polarized materials with a liquid crystal solution between them.
When the current passes through the liquid, it causes the crystal to align so that the light can (or can’t)pass through.
Use each crystal as a shutter to let the light pass through or block it.
Since both LED and LCD TVs are based on LCD technology, you might want to know what the difference is.
In fact, what is the difference between it.

There are three basic forms of lighting used in LCD TVs: CCFL backlight, full backlight

Each of these lighting technologies is different in important ways.

These different configurations lead to differences in image quality, but the overall brightness capability still exceeds what the ccfl LCD TV can achieve.

Even in a dark scene, the liquid crystal display can\'t completely stop the light from passing through, so the dimming light source itself helps to produce deeper black and more impressive contrast in the picture.
This is achieved by selectively dimming the LEDs when a specific part of the pictureor region —

We still feel that it is important to notice this difference because there are fewer and fewer
The separated led will not have the same precision and consistency as full-array displays.
Because edge lighting uses LEDs located at the edge or edge of the screen, projecting light onto the back of the LCD screen rather than directly from behind the screen, it may produce very subtle blocks or light pixel bands within or around areas that should be dark.

This is especially noticeable in scenes with high contrast, as the dark part of the picture may look too bright or washed away.
