What Is a PMOLED Display?
A PMOLED (Passive-Matrix Organic Light-Emitting Diode) display drives its OLED pixels using a simple matrix of row and column electrodes, without a thin-film transistor backplane. This passive driving method keeps the design and cost low, making PMOLED ideal for small displays with moderate resolution.
