MCU Displays
Direct MCU Interface. Fast Refresh. Proven Reliability.
Explore our range of MCU displays — screens designed for direct connection to microcontrollers via a parallel MCU (8080/6800) interface. Offering fast data throughput, simple control, and broad compatibility with mainstream MCUs, these displays are a dependable choice for industrial HMI, instrumentation, medical devices, and embedded systems.
What Is an MCU Display?
An MCU display is a display module that communicates with a host microcontroller through a parallel interface — commonly the 8080 or 6800 bus — rather than serial protocols like SPI or I2C. The interface uses a data bus (typically 8, 16, or 18 bits) plus control signals such as read/write, chip select, and reset. Because the display accepts data in parallel, it achieves faster refresh rates than serial interfaces, making MCU displays well suited to graphics-intensive and real-time applications. Most MCU displays integrate the driver IC, onboard RAM (GRAM), and backlight into a single module.
