Chip-on-Glass (COG) LCD displays represent an advanced display technology where the driver IC is bonded directly onto the glass substrate of the LCD panel using anisotropic conductive film (ACF). Unlike conventional Chip-on-Board (COB) displays that require a separate PCB, COG technology eliminates the need for an intermediate carrier board, enabling a significantly thinner and more compact module design.
